hey just passing through-
but definitely not entrapment. entrapment would've been going up to the guy and pointing to a gay couple on the bench and convincing the guy to attack them. as opposed to just waiting to see who would've done it on their own. basically the cops can't encourage someone to behave criminally who wouldn't have in the same circumstances, but they can create all kinds of "tempting circumstances." flashing around lots of money so someone tries to take it, looking like a junkie so a drug dealer will approach them, or like they want a prostitute, so they can be solicited, etc.
