The bass wood, wire, & mesh monstrosity that took me about 50 hours of the past weekend.

Beautiful. It was good to see you last night.

haha. leave it to the madeline students to create complex basswood behemoths casting shadows over the timid little chipboard constructions in other studios.
really beautiful model, btw. is this the "grid-busting" wallas project?

yes! so much work, but such great fun. I really want to find Robbe-Grillet's book now...

haha, I actually read one of his books back in early high school... i think it was la jalousie. bad idea for someone uninitiated to the art of the nouveau roman, to say the least :P After doing that project, it made me really want to pick up one of his books again, though. very interesting stuff.

ahahahaha. actually, random note... i didn't even notice, but i've been sitting literally a couple feet away from this very model for the past few hours now... I'm working in the DAL because butler is full and gross.
now that I see it in person... it's gorgeous!! you have wonderful craft.

thank you!

hmm, that's actually a really good idea... if I were more motivated to actually _study_, I would join you...
