I am some combination of amused, horrified, and disturbed that the photographer who so thoroughly captured a bawling Paris Hilton as she was carted back to jail two days ago took the above photograph of a naked Vietnamese girl running away from a napalm blast exactly 35 years prior.

Nick was scheduled to speak to my AAJA J Camp class in 2003, but couldn't make it.
did you know that the photographer who took that vietnam photo was the only one to help the little girl? the photo is cropped because there were so many other photographers taking the same picture, and none of them did anything to help.
in addition to being ridiculous, that is one incredibly interesting piece of trivia.
